Morgan, Lloyd, and Solo Lead the Charge

The US women's national soccer team has unveiled its roster for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The squad features a mix of experienced veterans and promising newcomers, with 14 players returning from the team that won the 2015 World Cup.

Headlining the roster are veterans Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd, and Hope Solo. Morgan is the team's all-time leading scorer, while Lloyd was named FIFA Women's Player of the Year in 2015. Solo, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, will be looking to add to her trophy case in Rio.

Joining the veterans is a group of talented youngsters, including 18-year-old Mallory Pugh and NWSL standout Crystal Dunn. Pugh, who is making her Olympic debut, is considered one of the most promising players in the world. Dunn, a versatile midfielder, has been instrumental in the United States' success in recent years.
